Wired.com has an interesting article on a new device, the 2nd generation of Fonera. Fonera 2 combines a router into a downloading, network accessable storage unit. It also gives you the option of connecting with other Fonera users to share on the Fonera network, allowing free access to millions of gigabytes of data. It also means that instead of lending your friend your copy of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” on Blu-Ray, you can share via network access without the requirement for an illegal download.
